Gigabit when
trying to booting up FAI. Some stuff didn't work well with the driver.
So i added some Megabit-based card to accomplish that task.
But i think there's no problem with Intel-based card.

ou haven't
chosen the NFS root option in kernel configuration. Check it as Y
(build into kernel).
If you build config kernel from scratch without FAI template
configuration, you might not see that option. Try to use the FAI
template config. There're config file for kernel 2.6.8 , 2.6

That solved my problem. Hope this help anyone with this problems.
Thanks,

I've re-configured kernel-2.6.8 to support autofs and autofs4 as module.
Make kernel-image-2.6.8-fai.deb , fai-setup again.
But nothing has changed.

Hi ,
I found that on Syskonnect driver support site. It's about PXE rom for
sk98 . I wonder whether that's a probem of mine or not.
http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect/support/driver/htm/yukba.htm
http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect/support/driver/htm/skpxe.htm
I've tried to update the sk98??
-
Curiously , I connect 1 of my spare pc (Intel Pro 10/100 Ethernet) to
the switch, than boot up. It went with no problem. I could get into
shell command.
As before , I downloaded lasted driver for Marvell Yukon 8053 (sk98lin
ver 8_28)and built it permanently with kernel.
Anyone have solution for that.
Thank in advance

kernel 2.6.8 with sk98lin (lastest version from
SysKonnect homepage) patched. (use the patch created from install.sh
script comes along with the driver).
I ran ifconfig then got ethernet card loaded as eth1.
By the way, I have just only 1 network interface at the moment (the sk98lin).
Could you tell me more about skge driver ?
Cheers,

d is SysKonnect Marvell (sk98lin). I've recompiled
kernel with sk98lin server integrated permanently.
Any suggestions for that problem.
Thanks in advance.
