This probably has nothing to do with fai, but I'm getting desperate, and there is a lot of wise poeple on this list, so here goes: A have a lot of old computers with Radeon 9250 graphics (AGP). The have worked just fine running sarge, but I can't get them to work with etch (using the stock ati

Random hangs during installation

Using fai-kernels 1.17+etch2 the installation hangs at random points during the installation. Sometimes it hangs during boot, typically at "Waiting for /dev to be populated". Other times it hangs during package transfer och some other point. As far as I can see, it looks totally random, and hap
