I'm having againg the problem, that my nfsroot won't mount. I built
package with the latest kernel (2.6.15.10) with unionfs patch. entered
this to /etc/fai/NFSROOT. put the unionfs
into /srv/fai/nfsroot/.../initrd-tools/modules. rebuilt nfsroot with
make-fai-nfsroot. startup ends with Begin:
I was going down a similar road...and was pointed to the multi-distro
information...I did not end up needing to, as my server, client, etc
are all lennyput I can say this much - no, they do not have to be
the same, and i think the thing you will have to look into is creating
the proper

I'd like fai to decide which packages to install on a given host to be a
bit more customizable. At least I think so. There may be a different
way, which I'm to blind to see.
[Note: I'm using the same config-space for debian / ubuntu / 32bit /
64bit. I'm using 4 different nfsroots for
