There's two questions here:
1. Calling fai-mirror as a root is wrong or raises any problem? I'm
executing it as root.
2. I have no patch for you right now, but if I understand correctly, before
starting the fai-mirror process I have to copy manually gpg

It's not wrong, but I would never call command as root if it's not
strictly necessary.
