it didn't work for me. In "package_config", I added the line:
..
PACKAGES yumi
..
kernel-module-openafs-`uname -r`
..
But fai.log says:
install_packages: executing chroot /target yum -y install
kernel-module-openafs-`uname -r` ...
No package kernel-module-openafs-3.
