The question is quite simple: Why doesn't he find the /scripts/live even
though it's on the right place? I hope I haven't forgotten something to
mention.
Thanks in advanc

But you may debug your NFS server. Check if the mount requests are
received by your NFS server. tcpdump and /var/log/daemon.log may help.
dammit, you're right. the server does not even try to mount rootfs,
but why? just for fun i tried debian-installer and all went fine.

Don't you see a message giving an advice what is going on in your
case ?
no, not really. do you know how i can tell the boot prompt something
like "set -xv"?
does this look like a proper path
Frédéric BOITEUX schrieb:
But, to help debug Debian-Live's based systems, you can : - add
"debug" to cmdline : set "-x" option in Debian Live's main bash
script, traces are available in /tmp/initramfs.debug
I have no acces to the server until it's not booted... so i cannot
look into /tmp

Hi Michael!

Did you update the PXE configs (using the new fai-chboot maybe) - you need to
have boot=live in your kernel command line.
fai-chboot wrote brandnew config files:

job. Any hint would be appreciated.
