Hello!
I want to deploy SLES 12, however I could find a howto guide that offers a (trustful) starting point.
I found this wiki page (http://wiki.fai-project.org/index.php/Installing_SLES9_32Bit_and_Smart_PackageManager_with_FAI), but it's hard to judge whether this is still applicable or not.

Hello!
I'm facing an issue when installing "demohost" according to installation guide.
The errors occur in step
DEBIAN/40-misc and
GRUB_PC/10-setup
(All details in attached logs from demohost.)
The corresponding error messages are:
Calling task_configure
Executing shell: FAIBASE/10-misc

Hello!
I installed FAI from official repository executing
aptitude install fai-quickstart
After the installation I can see that some packages are not installed:
fai-nfsroot
fai-setup-storage
In which scenario do I need these packages?
And how should I install them in case they are required?

Hi,
I'm running FAI server in KVM.
Starting demohost (KVM, too) and booting PXE is generally working, but it fails
in step "NFS mount".
The error message displayed in demohost is:
mount.nfs: Protocol not supported
This is the current NFS configuration on FAI server:

Hello!
I want to deploy SLES on several clients.
Due to restrictions (we are only running OS SLES or RHEL) I have installed
QEMU/KVM on a host and created a guest (VM) based on Debian 9 with FAI.
I would need support for some configuration steps, in particular regarding the
network setup.

Hello!
Is it possible to install a FAI server behind a firewall?
How should I modify the proxy configuration that is stored on FAI-CD during the
installation process?
The server should run on KVM machine hosted on SLES12.

Hello!
I want to install FAI Server on VMWare.
For network access I need to use a proxy.
Therefore I have configured file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/80HttpProxy accordingly:
Acquire::http::Proxy "http://proxy:8080";;
I can start installation of package "fai-quickstart" w/o issues.
However, when I run
