I am trying to install Debian using FAI, following the official guide.
I run into an error. Any modification of the overlay filesystem is failing.
The first one that fail is "mkdir /var/log/fai: operation not
supported", then any other attempt from the installer to modify the roo

Which FAI version are you using? Wheich kernel version? What's the
output of
cat /proc/cmdline

Hello Thomas,
Thanks for your help. I was using the jessie repository, so it might be
the issue.
In the "Install the FAI packages" section, jessie is referenced. Is this
correct, or should it be stretch. My FAI server is based on Debian
Stretch, not Jessie.
