Did you try adding
$ROOTCMD update-initramfs -k all -u
to scripts/LAST/60-misc.sh? Don't know whether this helps or not, but it might
be worth a try.

i think all the issue comes from the grub install. I switched to grub2
as it better understand the raid settings and lvm
