Hi,
last week I gave a talk about integration of heartbeat, conntrackd and
fwbuilder. During that talk I als
I don't know of any "firewall" resource agent, but you can always write
your own one (and contribute it later :) ).
Here's how to:

I'd recommend looking at the Dummy RA

Did you install rpm or from source?
If from source you may need to make the links yourself.
e.g
[r...@dtbaims ~]# find /etc -type f -name "*heartbeat*"
/etc/rc.d/init.d/heartbeat
/etc/logrotate.d/heartbeat
[r...@dtbaims ~]# find /etc -type l -name "*heartbeat*"
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S75heartbeat
/etc/r
Yeah i tried that but i doesn't list the process. I'm on CentOS 5.

Normally done by the OS start/stop scripts.
e.g. in RedHat Linux
[r...@dtbaims ~]# ls -l /etc/init.d/heartbeat
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 9528 Nov 15 04:50 /etc/init.d/heartbeat
[r...@dtbaims ~]# chkconfig --list | grep heartbeat
heartbeat 0:off 1:off 2:on3:on4:on5:on6:off
Hi,
How do we get heartbeat to startup when the node boots up. This is so when i
restart a node it will also start heartbeat instead of doing it manually.
Thanks,
John

Thanks for that direction. As it turned out, the init script was not
lsb compliant. So, I wrote an lsb complia

Ah. Good to know. Heartbeat actually seems to ignore this, so I
guess it's no big deal, but the haresources2cib.py script
automatically puts in those provider statements.
Thanks!

Hello,
thanks for the clarification. I seem to be having another configuration
issue, do I need to setup another constraint to allow the stonith resource
to run on a node that's running any other resources? I've setup a resource
group (ip,fs, apache) and 2 seperate stonith resources, 1 for each iL

The only way i've gotten this to work reliably is to NOT use clones at all.
You need one primitive stonith resource per node, configured with the
appropriate parameters for that host (including ilo hostname and username
and password) and set a constraint to not allow it to run on the host with

Hello,
I'm also trying to use the riloe stonith plugin on SLES10 SP2.
I have a question wrt the cloning on the stonith resource, I'm pretty new to
stonith so forgive me my ignorance.
The riloe plugin has several parameters, 1 is the ilo_hostname. I would
expect that every physical machine has it's

Hi all,

If not, I'll try to write it by myself...
Thank you by advance,
