[Linux-HA] About standby mode

hi all, I don't quite understand the meaning of the standby mode of a heartbeat node. When a heartbeat node is in standby mode, it can not take over resources ,when other node is down. Why we need such a mode? Thanks in advance.___

The reason for reboot was that the crmd encountered an unrecoverable condition and exited. It is not clear what happened to crmd. It could be a communication problem, though there's nothing in the logs from the lower layer (heartbeat). BTW, you can prevent reboots by replacing crm yes with
