Greetings,
I have a drbd+heartbeat setup and I am having a problem.
If the machine which drbd is master shuts down the passive machine does
not change its status to active one and because of that it cant mount
the drbd file system.
Can anyone give me some feedback in this ??
I have 2 nodes on my setup running na active/passive configuration with
postgresql, drbd and drbdlinks.
When heartbeat is started(on both nodes) my node called pgslave gets
promoted to DC and that cannot happen, my node pgmaster should always be
the active part of the service and also this
one from
http://hg.linux-ha.org/dev. Though default one should work too.

Why you don't use an OCF script?

using Heartbeat with CRM for controlling
PostgreSQL so it's not that hard as you think, so I'd recommend to
start using CRM. You can try GUI for building your cib.xml.

Greetings,
I am a newbie in linux HA and need to get a postgresql database
clustered (active/passive) 2 nodes in my work production environment.
I've read some Slony-I docs but I found it very complex for someone who
only have basic knlowdge on database administration so I decided to give
