Hello list,
I finally convinced gcc to work as intended :) but -while rpmbuilding
heartbeat- I'm running into the next issue which looks as follows:
send_arp.libnet.c:302: error: too many arguments to function
`libnet_get_hwaddr' (see attached log for complete messages)

Hello List,
I need to set up a heartbeat cluster on RH4 ppc running on IBM iSeries
LPAR. As there are no precompiled packages, I have to compile everything
myself from source which fails due to incompatible libc.so/libc.a (see
attached config.log). Did investigation it seems to me that compilation

I fear I'm not experienced enough to find any usable hints in config.log
(see attachment) but it seems to me that there is a version problem with
gcc.
My config:
RH4 ppc on IBM iSeries LPAR
Kernel 2.6.9-34.EL
Heartbeat 2.1.4
Gcc 3.4.5-2

erm... rudimental ;) I would appreciate any hints to help me get along with
this issue. Alternatively, a download link for already prepared RPMs would also
be welcome.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the quick response.
While the cluster is running, there _seem_ to be no problems at all, but it
prevents CTS from running correctly. It comes up with 1000s of BadNews caused
by that error and fails.
Fortunately, I have a little time to test it "by hand" ;-)

em is probably related to my
rather "exotic" setup (although I think there must be some more people running
linux-HA on iSeries, even if I haven't found them yet ;)).
Thanks in advance
