I had no compression set at all. I added the settings as advised in that
posting and it does

I just made sure that MAILCMD is assigned a mail app in .ocf-binaries. Try the
command below.
sed -i '/MAILCMD/s/=/=\/bin\/mail/g'
/usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat/.ocf-binaries

Thanx for this info. It seems that I won't be able to make use of this
right now, as I use the haresources file, and not a cib.xml one

Hi Jan
I know what MailTo does.
I'm trying to find out how to actually implement / use it?

Does anyone know s use the MailTo: directive?
The website has the following URL: http://www.linux-ha.org/MailTo but
it doesn't actually have any content
And google lists a lot of sites with into on the MediaWiki MailTo
directive, which has nothing todo with Heartbeat
Try the GuiGuide site http://www.linux-ha.org/GuiGuide and the cib.xml
of this example http://www.linux-ha.org/_cache/GuiGuide__cib.xml.

Andreas

Put it in a group or constraint it with a resource. That way you get an
email when the group/other resource is started/stopped.

Can you please elaborate on this. Give me an example of how / where to
use it?
This is an example using constraints. I dont have a group example at hand.
This could be part of your cib:
MailTo RA
primitive id=mailto class=ocf type=MailTo provider=heartbeat
meta_attributes
Thanx Dominik
