While testing some changes here I was using call (which I seldom use) to
connect back via a neighbor and typed Ctrl-] mechanically (like in
escaping from a telnet), and it brought up an unseen menu for me on top of
the screen. Some features are evident, some not so much, like the MODE
options. Wh

I think you should now uninstall both the *src* and binaries that you

I'm getting closer on getting my ax25 utils working.
I have ax25ipd working and as long as I am connecting to a remote site
as W5GB-xx, it connects just fine. NETROM routing seems to work ok
now.
Here is what doesn't seem to work:

I tried to run the 'make' after running the ./configure and didn't get
very far. I initially installed the ax25-utils using the
ax25-utils-2.1.42a-6.src.rpm. The error that I am getting is; no files
at netax25/mheard.h and netax25/axlib.h and so on. Looking in the

you can find a description of this modem at www.qsl.net/dg1scr.
I have a few PCBs left
What does one do when everything is running perfectly?...You get a wild
hair and upgrade the OS! I did exactly that and ended up spending
several days getting things back to semi normal. Anyway, for those who
are using the Intelligent async PC/Xe Digiboard multi serial interface,
here is what I ne

Hi everybody,
I moved from kiss to 6pack in my TNC EPROMS, and started to use the 6pack
driver in 2.2 kernels and spattach, the modified version of kissattach as
explained in the README.
I found that (as I espected) all ax25 connections now are working better, so I
want to keep these settings.
Hi Folks,
Well I disabled the onboard serial ports and installed a STB 4COM card. Well
the ports on the 4COM card work just fine. Go Figure! I'd still like to know
why the onboard ones won't.

I decided to give a try to the pacsat protocol on FBB and decided to
compile pbpg-1_1_oz6bl_tar.gz under RedHat 5.1. I added libax25 from
ax25-utils-2.1.42a to the libraries and did ldconfif, plus added a pair of
symlinks for axconfig.h and axutils.h . It compiled OK on a RedHat 4.2
