Whenever I try to add an encap route (for lack of a better term) I get the

The server itself is independant of the ax25utils package. It is a just a
tcp daemon just like any other.
I suggest using Htpp (Hessu's tpp) which can be located at:
ftp.hes.iki.fi in the /pub/oh7lzb/convers directory. The two tar files
that you will need are:
tpp-convers-1.14.tar.gz
