My sincerest thanks to all that responded to my plea for help. I now have WuFTPD running satisfactorily, so I am on the home stretch. I still can't get the X-server operating correctly. I am running a "Diamond Stealth 3D-2000 Multimedia" (PCI) video board and no matter what I do, X-windows
