Many thanks to you for taking the time to reply to me. I have looked at this
page, but as a newbie to Linux I do not know as yet how to compile.
I know that quite a number of these excellent Windows/Mac scanners were sold,
and I have seen on various forum pages that other than may be in an Emu
I might be able to bring a digital video camera. I can't vouch for the
quality but I think it's good. But I don't have a tripod and it would
suck to watch the video when it's wiggling.
Does anyone have a camera with a tripod?

As a matter of fact and as far as I know, the G.729 codec and G.729A
codec are more compressed than gsm.
(It could be that it is not
supported by twinkle or other clients, I don't know )

Yes I'm very interested though I haven't got around to get my asterisk
working for me, and family say that for now they are happy with skype
so I don't need the Isareli number.
