Hello everyone,
The company I work for, speedata.io, is looking for a Linux kernel developer.
A little about us: The company is producing a domain specific processor. Think GPU, but for a different type of task. The end result will be a PCI card sitting in a PC, offloading some of the tasks.
As such, we need a kernel developer. This is both for writing the host side drivers (not a huge part of stage 1, as we'll probably rely quite heavily on the VFIO driver) and for an ARM Linux kernel that orchestrate the device side operations.
I've had my share of startups, and while I haven't been there long, I really like the vibe of the company. Both in terms of the people working there and the focus on the right aspects of the technology and in terms of the extras. And by that, I do not mean the swag and happy hours (though there is a fair share of those), but the family friendliness and respect of private time. I joined the company late August. I always shut down my computer on Thursday and turn it back on on Sunday. I've yet to see emails sent on Friday or Saturday.
If any of that sounds interesting to you, please let me know.
