NIC's With Failover

I am looking for a way to join (Team) the NIC's with fail-over. There is a Broadcom utility (BASP) for this.   Does anyone know of a native Linux command or utility for doing this?   Hardware: IBM xSeries server Dual Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5703 Gigabit Ethernet NIC's Red Hat 9 or Red Hat Enterprise ES release 3
