I replied to Marcel on a different list. I checked, and
pthread_atfork() works for me on several platforms (RHEL3 on i386 with
2.4 and 2.6 kernels (one of them a Xeon-based x345, another a Pentium
IV), and Yellow Dog on PPC (G5) with a 2.6 kernel). Marcel should
have received full details, and I'll spare the rest of you.
