I have been looking fro linmodems for a while and I found areally cheap one
(what I am looking for): it's a motorolla model (contact me privatly for the
location since I do not want to advertise here). My question is: I konw that
motorla's modems are not very good, but how is the drive

mandrake with the parameters you sayed and it worked. There is a 50%

I am testing qt3, copmiled OK, (all system libraries, shared, thread
support) with gcc 2.95. Compiles faster then the ones before, and it
supports bidi out the of the box. I compiled into /usr/local/qt, and set the
enviroments. I worked fine for older versions.

I am trying to d/l mozilla bidi buils. If i recall they are somewhere on
iglu's ftp.
But that ftp is out for 2 days. I got from windows commander a message
saying that that operations is taking too much, from IE just cannot conect,
and DownLoad accelerator the same.

small question has anybody aksed our cousins about what they are

problems with some external libraries), here is the output:

At sunday in Zombit, I heard that Mircrosoft invested in Corel, and then
Corel went deeeper into linux. Now Word has no competition (at leaast in the
Win32 platform). But Corel is also also one of the biggests programmers of
WINE. So it leads me to 2 points:
1) MS wants to develop a alternative

i have tried to compile the latest kernel, with gcc 2.92.66 (or similar).
When I booted it the computer says "uncompressing linux...OK" and then gets
stucked.

message called "Bezeq is fooling you" at the programming forums.
It talks about bezeq spliting the phone lines to save money (ONE+ONE). It
does not matter with voice but it is a mess when you try to pass data with
those phones.
I just d/l the latest kernel (2.4) and I want all the mandatory programs in
RPM. I could not find them. Some body knows where to find them?
(I think I should wait a few days until somebody will think of RPMing them
no?)

a win modem is a 56K modem. They are very small (the main card is very thin)
and they cost very cheap. Why because they lack one of most expensive
componentes the processor. instaed they use the CPU fpr small operations
(like opening the compresssion which the modem has, error corrections etc).
