Hi,
The Sun Update Connection team is looking for an excellent Tier 3
support engineer.
The applicant will be required to recreate customer
environments,address complex technical support incidents and deliver
professional support to Sun customers and Internal Engineers.
The job requires strong technical orientation and excellent
interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Has a good solid working knowledge of Unix (preferably
Solaris/Linux).
- Feels comfortable working on a Unix shell.
- Excellent English (Verbal and Written) - Strong advantage to Native
English speakers (mother tongue).
- Solid Understanding of Networking theory and practice (configuration,
routing, debugging).
- Quick Learner.
Advantages:
- Prior Support Experience.
- Strong Scripting (bash, perl, python) capabilities.
- Knowledge of SQL and generic database access and administration.
- Unix/Linux System Administration Experience.
- PC hardware Knowledge/Experience.
