Ravello systems is developing an hypervisor/virtual machine capable of
running on the cloud.

Companies who want to run, e.g., ESXi on the cloud, are running their
software on Ravello's hypervisor which is capable of running nested on AWS
or Google cloud.

Ravello also emulates Layer 2 network for virtual machine, enabling clients
such as checkpoint to run their virtual appliance on the cloud.

The following positions are open:

1) Experienced Java backend. Developing web frontend and collecting metrics
from the Ravello virtual machines. Standard Java stack+Cassandra: Spring
Postgresql Hibernate Tomcat. Example task: adding a warning email for a
customer when his bill surpass a certain threshold.
2) Automation. Running various operating systems on Ravello's hypervisor,
and verifying that Ravello's hypervisor works correctly. Example task:
setting a Jenkins job that installs an ESX and a windows guest, and verify
Windows is running PCMark correctly.
3) Network layout solution. Ravello runs its hypervisor on the cloud, and
has a software to manage thy hypervisor network, disks and general
environment. There job here spans many areas, tasks there could be,
benchmarking and understanding the bottenecks of Ravello's block device,
changing the way Ravello provides virtual switch, designing a better way
for users to define VLANs in their network.

Do email me for more details,

Thanks
(PS this is not an official statement by Ravello, I speak in my name only)
