Yesterday i got this oops with kernel 2.4.2 (SMP, without any additional
patches).
Even though this is the first oops with 2.4.2, i got 3 oops in 4 days with
2.4.1.
The machine was almost idle, running only mailsnarf, apache, postgresql and
vmstat; without any load:

This is the 3rd day in a row i got an oops.
The only difference this time was the machine had one postgresql running, with
mailsnarf, vmstat, apache and inetd; without any load.
The oops (passed through ksymoops 2.4) is attached, with the dmesg.

Yesterday I posted an oops report. Today I've just arrived and the machine got
an oops once again (at about 2am). It was almost unreadable because this time
minicom was running and the output is a real mess, the only things clear were:
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual
Sorry, i had a little problem sending the attachments in my last email.
Here they are.

Yesterday I got an oops in a Dell PowerEdge 4100/200.
It was almost idle (the process list is listed below).
There was no SysRQ, VT, hd work, network or keyboard response.
The oops was, obviously, copied by hand; and kernel is
plain 2.4.1 compiled with egcs 2.91.66.

So binding to a non-local ip address shouldnt be allowed because it "is not
available from the local machine"; even if the machine has a dynamic ip.
