You need to create a symlink
ln -s /lib/modules/2.4.1/kernel/drivers/net /lib/modules/2.4.1/net
That will fix the nic, I am not sure about sound. You may need to
create a misc link like
ln -s /lib/modules/2.4.1/kernel/drivers/misc /lib/modules/2.4.1/misc

10/100 NIC. I have turned on all 10/100

cards -n- such); however, I can not get the rtl
driver to show
up as an option in my menuconfig. What to I

Can someone please point me to a doc on how to mount a DVD drive.
COrrect me if I am wrong but the DVD file format is UDF? I did not see that
as an option when I compiled 2.2.17. Do I need to use 2.4.0testX to mount
