rt is now "reserved" for that POST code usage,
and it is the safest port one can use in order to delay,
Linux uses it.
If you don't want this, change it in your kernel or define
SLOW_BY_JUMPING.

I dont do make install because it could do something unwanted.
modules_install isn't good either because some prefer monolithic
kernels. But split-include could do the job, as it's called as of 2.2
for each compile.

AFAICS the fs isn't corrupt.
No further idea.

FAT the driver complains about.
AFAIK it only ought to complain if the bootsector (BPB and
55AA magic) is corrupt. (Or did so in 2.0.33)
Sorry can't help, seems to be a fs-driver flaw.

Does 2.4.1 when released, include e.g. Jens' loop patch?
Because it seems stable and loop else were buggy.
So for others if there are.

Intolerable, that's right.
Isn't ECN a good new technology? Isn't there an open implementation
on the `net? - So why don't they at least _start_ converting to it?
mirabilos - favouring security, too

German "proper" could better be translated with "correct", e.g. in sense of political
correctness. But (especially for elder women) it's also the meaning of
``proper clean44 ;)
IMHO the meaning is Meister Proper the cleaning fluid.
