I have an AdvanTech PCM-9381 board and noticed in dmesg that I should add "pci=assign-busses" and report this to linux-kernel. Knowing nothing about the underlying problem (and not even sure that there is a problem), I'm just concur :-)
"lspci -t" show the same output with and without "pci=assign-busses", just some numbers change. Here is a "diff -u" of the output of "dmesg" and "lspci -t" for both cases: --- dmesg.before 2006-11-17 17:43:30.000000000 +0100 +++ dmesg.after 2006-11-17 17:45:02.000000000 +0100 @@ -44,9 +44,9 @@ Enabling APIC mode: Flat.
