I've recently started to see this in the log almost whenever I touch the
filesystem:

Mine works. In fact the 2.4.4ac source tree currently lives on it.

Hi,
I have a megaraid 466 controller, which both ami and the linux
kernel say is supported under 2.4.4, I tried the ami patches to
the drivers in the vanilla kernel to no avail, the card works
under windows...the card is even detected under linux now, but

Consider trying the megaraid driver megaraid.[ch] in 2.4.2-ac11 and above.
It's v1.14g-ac.

I have a machine with a built-in Adaptec aic7xxx card and a Megaraid PCI
card. My system (raid 5) boots off the Megaraid. For this to work I
compiled the Megaraid module into the kernel while the aic7xxx loads as a
module. dmesg shows the following:

I've compiled the 2.2.18 and 2.4.0 kernels with the latest megaraid driver (1.14b)
and they work well. You should also upgrade your firmware to L148 (bios 3.11).
I think the firmware revision depends on which model card you have, I have the
1600 Elite.
don't know if this has been covered/studied
