I tried max_latency tracing first, didn't see anything usefull,
went on with tracing fre
i have released the 2.6.19-rt1 tree, which can be downloaded from the
usual place:

merged to v2.6.19 and applied a few more fixes and a KVM update.
to build a 2.6.19-rt1 tree, the following patches should be applied:
