iptables-1.1.1 and test7

Hey, I've been trying to get iptables to compile and run with kernel 2.4.0-test7 with absolutly no luck. I have tried patching it with both the patch that comes with the iptables-1.1.1.tar.bz2 and the patches on CVS. Could someone tell me which patches need to be applied, in what order or provi

No sound (es1371) after test7

List, Well everythings working fine in test9-pre5 except for the fact that sound has stopped functioning on my es1371 card. I had no problems with it at all in test7 but since then it doesn't work. On boot it detects normally, pops and crackles for a second, and then just doesn't work. Any ide

DVD not functioning

DVD Disk Detection

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to check to see if a DVD is in a users DVD drive. Currently if you run a CDROM_DISC_STATUS on a DVD you get a CDS_DATA_1 returned. What kernel level call would destinguish between an actual Data CD and a DVD? Thanks, Kris Kersey [EMAIL PROTECTE
