I was wondering if the media pad configuration could be hard fixed in
the kernel sources, so an userspace application could directly capture
some frames from the CCDC output ( /dev/video2 ).

I'm currently facing a similar problem than yours. Did you get a piece a
solution, to finally capture some video?
I'm using Laurent Pinchart's media-sensors git repository ( 2.6.37 ), and I'm
trying to capture some video provided by a saa7113 device.
