Anyone know of an open software or inexpensive application to use the
computer as an oscillscope under Linux?
More broadly (and more apropos to the list), how does one locate
specific applications for Linux such as this?

Hello all,
working with SuSE 6.4 (kernel 2.2.14) I installed also the nfs-server. Later
on, I compiled a second, non stock kernel 2.2.18 and I put nfs support in the
configuration file. However, nfs under 2.2.18 is no starting. I get something
like "failed to open /dev/nfsd_netlink: no such dev

Almost all extern modems (cheaps and expensives) works very well under Linux, and i
think that under any operating system.
