Most internal ISA modems supply or emulate standard serial port
hardware so a link to /dev/ttyS* is quite likely. See the mod

I think you do need /dev/ttySx i used to have an isa modem but cant quite
remember how i used it, i will try and explain.

i was probing Opera 5.0 for Linux and is lovely. It
