There's innumerable mail clients, and a lot depends on just what you
want to do. For speed and efficiency, I happen to prefer rmail under
emacs. For news, I use gnus under emacs, but suspect there's an easier
way.

Squid has no rules to direct different queries to different interfaces.
Try to search lists/docs for tcp_outgoing_address - it order squid to use
