I have Mandrake 9.0. I'm trying to run Broadcast 2000 with my firewire
card. I know that Mandrake knows about the card and loads a module for
it (ohci1394) but harddrake2 refuses to see it. What, if anything, can

I had a problem before with fetchmail hanging, and after deleting the
first message from the server, I get the problem back.
After the mail server reports the number of messages waiting and the
size of each, I get the following. The fist line here reports the size

I have corrected this issue. I was running it as a daemon but I had a

I know have qmail working and have a question I feel almost foolish
about asking.
If I send a message to a user on the server I have to send the address

1. Are you running qmail as a daemon or through inetd? If through inetd,
what does the actual line in /etc/inetd.conf look like?
2. When you attempt to telnet to port 25 on the machine and fail, does

firewall you may ha
I have installed qmail and it appears to be working correctly. I can
send messages using qmail-inject to accounts on the system. However the
SMTP part does not seem to be working correctly. When I telnet (locally
or remotely) to port 25 it hangs. It connects but then sits with no
greeting messages.

Hi,
I recently (yesterday) upgraded my home internet connection from BT ADSL
(512k/256k), to NTL Cable(1Mb/256k), for the extra speed. However,
for the next 30 days I seem to be the owner of two broadband connections in
my home.
