Um, OK. In the list of available screensavers in the screensavers
dialoge, there are no more than what came with KDE, the defaults. I
guess what I am asking is, how do I add my new screensavers to this list
so that I might click "apply" and enable them?

This does, however, have the disadvantage that your existing partitions
are copied but not resized. Eventually, you end up with lots of little
partitions (after a couple of hard disk upgrades...)
