This 'skype' is rather new to me and I only have it working
well using Windows 2000 & Windows XP. It 'works' with
Slackware v9.1, but the audio is not good.
I am suggesting that you try with a fresh install of
Slackware so that it will not be confused with a 'rpm'
install of libraries
