i started the question not to hack any system but i
was curious to know that in linux its easy to change
the root passwd
in this case the authenticity is a problem. still it
can be changed by a boot CD even i think so u have

accurate and correct result if called once.
but if the function is called in a loop N number of
times then probably it gives segmentation fault.

Hows that? /is it due to higher clock cycles in P3 and
less no. of transistor in early P4?
Well definately PowerPC's are faster than Intel. i do
agree. Some what i feel a day will come when CISC
processors will find difficult to servive...

well i am using linux 9.0 kernel 2.4 ver. 128 Mb RAM
i have seen not only on this sytem but the other one
having 512 Mb RAM the most of the memory is lost or
taken by graphics or xserver. on my system around 90%
is occupied by the xsever and on the sys with 512 Mb
RAM around 70% is occupied. h
