These days Iam working with TCP migrate options
given inthe form of patch to linux-2.2.26 by
Alex Snoeren. Iam also using the wedge,soft
synchronization program, written by Andersen.
If anyone had worked with the above, please read

I have a cluster of web servers.
Each server contains only a part of the whole web
content.
All have a primary Virtual IP address(same for all)
and
secondary IP addresses for comunication within
cluster.
Clients make requests on the VIP address.

Iam working in a LAN with a number of systems.
A system has X hardware address and another has Y
hardware address.
I want to set the hardware address of the second
system
also to X.
I also want to set the primary IP addresses of both
systems to 172.31.19.30.
So when I ping to
hi users,
My system IP is 172.31.19.22.
When I try to telnet to my system, I get
Trying 172.31.19.22...
Connected to localhost.localdomain (172.31.19.22).
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
Can any one guess the reason.

Hi,
When Iam working on my computer, suddenly I face
problems using mouse and keyboard.
Iam not able to do scrolling using the mouse.
Though I keep hold a key down, the character is not
displayed repeatedly.
I don't why this is happening suddenly.
Kindly help me!

I have installed RH8.0 in my system.
Then I have downloaded the linux kernel 2.4.18 and
configured it and compiled it to get new image.
I have used the old configuration(make oldconfig) with
my RH8.0(2.4.18-14).
when I boot into the new image,I have observed the
following things form the /var/l
