Hi
I have a laptop with Win XP already installed. I don't know how difficult
it could be not reformating the hard disk and repartitioning withthe
existing XP. The first question is, well, which way is better?

Other questions:
1. How many partition is possible to have on a PC?
I can make it more complicated by this question:
2. I have plans to install Free BSD after 3-4 months.
considering that I would like to have /home on linux on a dedicated
partition Can I have boot, swap, root, home, AND FREEBSD?? How should I
plan?)

Assuming keeping existing Windows installation the following is of
interest:
3. Partitioning the hard drive (e.g. Dos(XP), boot, swap, root, home)
using fips. Is there better tools for this?
4. What file system for XP should be choosen FAT32 or NTFS?

I would really appreciate a pointer to a step by step instruction (on the
web).
