I've now got an Epson Photo 830U printer, and it's working well with gimp-print from the development tree, except that I can't persuade it to do borderless A4 prints. When I save the image as postscript in the gimp (not enough memory to print while the gimp is open!) it has a couple of fields for X and Y offsets which look as if they might be related, but they don't seem to allow borderless (i.e. setting them both to zero still gives margins on three sides).
Google was not helpful on borderless printing in linux, so maybe it can't be done yet. Anybody managed, or seen any useful advice ?
