Aloha. Periodically, there are Java vulnerabilities requiring me to update
Java software to the latest version. With the Dell Openmanage, I normally copy
all .jar files from srvadmin/jre/lib/ to /usr/java/latest/lib/. Are there any
issues with this approach?

For the records, that can be helpful for others. Maybe it is on the
mailing list, but when I last time searched for ipmi errors I couldn't
find any clue.
If you see something like that (see below) in the logs (this is from
CentOS 5.3), that means IPMI is not working properly, basica

The problem I have is that while booting there are lots of garbage on
the serial consol
