this BIOS revision.
Intel Xeon 5500 series processors are not affected by this issue.
Not sure if this applies to you as it depends on your processor.

We are looking at replacing about 50 servers and was wondering if Dell has
a buyback program? Or does anyone know of a company that purchases old
Dell equipment?
(Resending this out as I had an issue with the mailing list and wasn't
receiving any new posts)
I hope this isn't true. If so I will have to start looking into a new solution
for our server purchases as this is unacceptable.

I just humor them, call back 30 minutes later and tell them you did what
they asked. Or if it is quick I just put them on hold, go get something
to drink and then tell them it is complete with no change. They are
probably just some low level techs reading off questions and responses
from their
from raid5 to raid5 either. Blowing away the vdisk and
recreating isn't really an option in this situation on this machine.
Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
