The system messages log reports a modprobe error, "can't locate
block-major-48" when RH5.2 tries to recognize the Acceleraid 250.
The dandelion driver is in the kernel (2.0.36), but this message seems
to indicate that there's a module missing or it's getting a conflict
with something else. A
