Seting up a two Raid-1 disk array I've found the following problem:
I have had to use persistent-superblock=0 because the disk was in a
production server and couldn't be much time off so I used one existing
partition with data and in the free space created the second partition of
the array.
I have 2.2.1 installed with what I thought were the updated
libraries etc. Its been running for a couple of week without
raid.
I'm attempting raid 5 on some disks and installed
raid0145-19990128-2.2.0 as well as
raidtools-19990128-0.90.tar.gz.
Built a new kernel, modules etc, autodetect raid.
