no i think he means two seperate raid1 md devices for swap. raid10
would be even more overhead imo - but if anyone has empirical
evidence i'd love to see
I use 2.2.5-15 kernel and raidtools-0.90.
I have already constructed RAID-0 on system A.
But, today, I couldn't set up this on other system B.
All processes that I performed are exectly same..
The following is the content of /etc/raidtab.

I have RedHat Linux running (2.2.5) with raidtools 0.90-3). Problem is,
when I reboot the system it
1) autodetects the RAID array, 2) gives an error message about the Root fs
not mounted, and 3)
stops RAID. I do NOT have a raid0145 patch installed since I couldn't find
one for 2.2.5. I

I run Caldera 2.2, it came with 2.2.5 kernel. I downloaded the 2.2.6
kernel and installed the RaidTools there. It's been up and running 6GB
of RAID1 for 23 days now. There is a 2.2.10 version of the RAID tools,
but I've been seeing problems reports too. ... haven't had the chance to
play with it
