try have I also uppgraded to the latest
(ide.2.2.13.19991104.patch) ide patch. But it does not seem to help.

Below is the output from a "mke2fs + fsck". Fsck was interupted with
CTRL+C.
q:/home/jakob# mke2fs /dev/md0
mke2fs 1.18
with mke2fs _before_ the sync/(re)build was finished.
Anyone else who could confirm that this should be a problem?
This may be the problem. If it is, I guess that I have to rebuild the
whole partition. Right now doesn't the filesystem seem to be ok
anyway, lost+found is _crowded_ wi

I have set upp Softraid with 5*36.5GB (Maxtor) using RAID-5.
(3 disks on onboard (Athlon) VIA controller, 2 disks on PDC20262)
The setup worked ok and I created a file system with the following
data:
Block size: 4096
Fragment size:4096
Blocks per group: 32
