I'd like to ask about this:
AFAIK there is no possibility to boot from
RAID <> 1. Do you have some experiences with booting from floppy and then
starting up (mounting system) from existing RAID? What I'd like to do is to make
sure that when HDD with Linux fails, I'd like make the Linux to reboot,
boot from floppy, detect that HDD failured and mount system from backup on other
HDD (not necessary RAID partition) and resync the RAID with
hot-swap.
In other words - is there any way, how to
protect system against failure of system HDD?
