Hello, all.
I have been using Linux RAID for some time now with the AHA 2940 U2W
and SUN Diskpacks. I am at the point where four md devices and sixteen
SCSI disk devices are not enough.
My question is; How do I increase the number of these devices?
I have begun looking at the kernel source and see in sd.c:
#define SCSI_DISKS_PER_MAJOR 16
SCSI_DISKS_PER_MAJOR is only referenced in sd.c. Has anyone hacked
this to run more than 16 devices?
I have not yet begun to look at the md devices.
Any help is appreciated.
